Preschool annual Open House was Friday evening, September 27th. Excited children eagerly showed their classrooms, motor lab and playgrounds to parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends. Many prayer partners came to meet the families for whom they are praying. Two future students enjoyed playing in the school they will soon attend. Each child received a gift from church and an invitation to attend worship services. One little girl was delighted to see a cross inside the bag. Another family complimented us on an enjoyable and well-organized event.

The teachers did an outstanding job of displaying pictures and setting up typical preschool activities for all to experience. For a group of grandparents and prayer partners, it was Valley Center reunion night, as they remembered school days with their own children. Frequently parents who attended school together re-connect through their preschoolers who have become friends. Some parents have even discovered that they are neighbors.
We truly do become family at Community Lutheran. It is a pleasure to be in a happy Christ-centered environment.
